Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 6 August 2026
This policy explains when a recharge to your Aroh points balance can be refunded, and how to cancel or close your account. It applies to purchases made through the Aroh desktop application or aroh.dev, paid by UPI or other supported methods.
1. No subscription to cancel
Aroh does not use auto-renewing subscriptions. Every points purchase is a one-time, prepaid recharge. There is nothing to "cancel" in the subscription sense — if you stop using Aroh, you simply stop recharging. Your account and any remaining points stay available for when you return.
2. Eligibility for a refund
You may request a refund of a points recharge if:
- You were charged more than once for the same recharge due to a technical or payment-gateway error.
- Payment was deducted from your account but points were not credited within 24 hours of a successful payment.
- You request a refund within 7 days of purchase and have not used any of the points from that recharge.
Refunds are not available for points that have already been used by the agent (spent on requests, edits, or generated output), because that usage has already consumed the underlying model cost.
3. How to request a refund
- Email support@aroh.dev with your account email, the transaction ID, and the reason for the request.
- We will confirm receipt within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment gateway, typically within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or UPI provider.
4. Free signup credit
The ₹10 (100 points) free credit given on signup has no cash value and is not refundable, transferable, or redeemable for money.
5. Account closure
You may close your account at any time by emailing support@aroh.dev. On closure, any remaining points balance is forfeited unless a refund request under Section 2 is submitted and approved before closure is completed.
6. Termination for misuse
If your account is terminated for violating the Terms of Service (for example, fraudulent payment activity), any remaining points balance may be forfeited without refund.
7. Payment disputes
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us first at support@aroh.dev so we can investigate before you raise a dispute with your bank or UPI provider. This is usually faster and avoids delays caused by chargeback processes.
